Spiral Magic

Spiral Magic

Geometric formations hold information at a cellular level. One tool of Sacred Geometry is the Phi Ratio. The progression of the whole of nature, from the subatomic to the super-galactic, follows this ratio. Another is the Fibonacci Sequence which demonstrates the idea that each stage of natural growth or development refers to its prior state in order to take its next evolutionary step. The spiral is a common element of Sacred Geometry as well as to all natural development. Spirals in nature tend to follow the Phi Ratio or Fibonacci Sequence in their rates of expansion.

The spiral in this piece seems to be rising up out of the sea in the form of a nautilus shell flowing into an anemone in shades of lavender, kiwi and soft blue. The combination of the water element and the spiral serves to keep energy moving smoothly within the properties of the spiral. Thai Hill Tribe silver nautilus pendant, glass focal bead by California glass bead artist Rita Forman, gaspeite, Caribbean opal, pink amethyst, turquoise, amazonite, amethyst, freshwater pearl, sterling silver chain and clasp.
